Synopsis
There is a place that seems familiar, yet remains strange; a place to await death. It is the hospice ward. The film silently records the daily lives of the patients, their families, the medical staff and the volunteers at the hospice. It’s unusual to see a movie where death is approached with such tenderness. The Hospice truly makes one think about the meaning of life, what we should have said or done before the great departure, and about what is essential to us, which we often forget in the rush of everyday life.
