Synopsis
Sin maíz no hay país is a journey to the heart of the native corn in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, in Mexico. Farmers and indigenous populations relate the history of this sacred plant and express the will to keep their « seeds of dignity ». Corn became an object of conflict, between claims of identity, socioeconomics, environmental activism and defense of food sovereignty.
