Synopsis
In the Gulf of California, poaching threatens the vaquita, the world’s smallest harbour porpoise, which is on the verge of extinction. To save it and bring those responsible for the disaster to justice, a team of leading scientists, environmental advocates, investigative journalists and Mexican naval agents are willing to risk their lives. “Sea of shadows” is not only a story about the fight for the environment but it also brings light to the links between local authorities, drug cartels and the chinese mafia.Trailer :
