Synopsis
A sixteen-year-old refugee is stuck in Calais, trying to catch a boat to England. Broke, Abdul is stuck in limbo on the coast of France, living from day to day without any rights. Abdul’s involvement with the film puts him at risk, requiring the filmmakers to get involved and to protect him. On the Run with Abdul explores the delicate balancedocumentarians face when getting close to their subjects, as well as their responsibility.
