Synopsis
Despite relatively low crime rates, the Calgary Police Service has killed more people in recent years than police officers in other major Canadian cities, and more than the New York or Chicago police in 2018. Through five years of in-depth investigation of several disturbing incidents that have left many victims and grieving families bereft, the filmmakers dissect the workings of an alarming abuse of power and highlight the flaws of a failing criminal justice system.
