Synopsis
This experimental short film revisits the 2014 massacre in Isla Vista, California, during which six people’s lives were taken away by Elliot Rodger. Featuring an artificial intelligence that investigates the motivations and frustrations of the killer behind the massacre through the virtual character LonerWolf58, the documentary immerses us in online violence and reveals the Incel phenomenon to which Elliot Rodger belonged, a community whose hateful ideology is based on extreme misogyny.
