Synopsis
Beirut in Lebanon, Aleppo in Syria, Tel Aviv in Israel and Ramallah in Palestine are four steps across the Middle East where people have been tearing each other apart for a century. Haunted by the wars and the hatred, the Lebanese director went looking for another East, a more muffled, more intimate Orient, which is simmering in the kitchens and is losing itself in the maze of identities.
