Synopsis
“In The Desert” is a documentary diptych that portrays daily realities of shepherds in South Mount Hebron in an area led by the Palestinian authorities but controlled by the Israeli army. Avidan and his family are Jewish and Israeli. Avidan built a farm near the place where he was born, he wants his flock to spread on the hills as in the biblical period. His family and Omar’s never meet, nor do they accept one another.
