Synopsis
Akif left Germany to join up with the PKK guerrilla fighters. His group crosses the mountains in Iraqi Kurdistan to join the fighting areas at the Turkish border. The group includes two girls : Slav, born in Germany, joyful with Western manners, and Ozgur, fighter’s daughter, secretive and stubborn. There are two other boys : Avram, talkative and teasing, and Siyar, the boss, who knows that “the angel of death” isn’t far away. On their road, the camp of the Women Party, where groups formed by men come to kill “the male”, which is inside them through ideological lectures. Around the fire at dusk or during the endless walks in the mountain, the young fighters tell their dreams, their doubts, and their fears. Siyar evokes the face of the enemy that will maybe kill him, a face one sees only once.
