Synopsis
Marine, a 26-year-old photographer, suffered from obesity, weighing nearly 100 kilos. Now, she has lost 36 kilos but still finds it hard to accept her own body and the way others look at her. She is under the care of a therapist who helps her regain confidence in herself and her body. Marine captures portraits of bodybuilders in their daily life and intimacy. Each encounter, she questions the builders about their bodies, their cracks, and their shells. Behind the portrait of these “out of the ordinary” men and women, inevitably stands that of Marine – a young woman in search of transformation.
