Synopsis
After some years of married life, Atijat is still without a child and discovers that her husband is searching for a second wife. Her friend Ania, a young Polish archaeologist, tries to help her but her intervention, funny and obstinate, jars against the deep-seated convictions of a society where women have no rights.
