Synopsis
Isolated in the Amazon rainforest lives a community of children in deep intimacy with the nature around. Between the waters of the Pastaza River and the top of the trees, these kids run their daily lives almost autonomously and with a strong sense of collaboration.

Biografie van de regisseur
Inês T. Alves studied Cultural Narratives at different universities in Europe. A grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation allows him to do an internship in documentary cinema at the University of the Arts, in London. Inês is a filmmaker and cultural producer.
Her short documentary, Around Corners, won the New Cinema Award in Porto/Post/Doc Festival (Portugal) and her first feature documentary Waters of Pastaza premiered at the Berlinale – Berlin Film Festival in 2022.
