Synopsis

At first glance Takku Island, home to 400 Polynesians, looks like Heaven on Earth. Yet, the effects of climate change disrupt their harmonious existence with nature. For eight years, the director has filmed their fight against the ocean that floods their island and villages where they have been living for the past 1,000 years.
