The Millenium Festival presents The Voice of Hind Rajab, A Poignant Story from Gaza

November 7, 2025, 5:30 PM, UGC De Brouckère

The Millenium Festival is pleased to announce that it will present a special preview of the powerful and moving film The Voice of Hind Rajab at UGC De Brouckère (Eldorado screening room). This shocking film, which deeply moved audiences at the last Venice Film Festival, is based on real events and authentic emergency calls recorded by the Palestinian Red Crescent. It gives a deeply human voice to the horror experienced in Gaza.

On this exceptional occasion, we have the honor of welcoming the director, Kaouther Ben Hania, who will come specially to Brussels for an exclusive Q&A with the audience following the screening.

SYNOPSIS

The genocide unfolding in Gaza compelled Kaouther Ben Hania to make her film with urgent immediacy. In The Voice of Hind Rajab, the filmmaker brings to life the desperate efforts of the Red Crescent workers to save the life of Hind, a six-year-old girl. A true story with universal resonance.

Kaouther Ben Hania: “I cannot accept a world where no one answers a child’s cry for help. That pain, that failure, belongs to all of us.
