Synopsis

Kübra committed shameful crimes. She is the unique female intensive delinquent in Berlin, for she was incarcerated for 4 years at the age of 14. Still, she is also a sensitive and poetic girl who longs for attention, care and a more normal life. She takes us on a journey into her past, to a place where she grew up and knows better than anyone else : the woman’s prison in Berlin. There she had met a young woman from Ethiopia, Salema, to whom life hasn’t been kind. In their time together in prison they meet an unusual prison director, Matthias Blümel, who has unconventional views on prison methods.
