Synopsis
Fouad, from Casablanca looking for medical treatment in Italy, and Daniela, Italian and former drug addict, are healing each other with their warm and unconditional love. But Fouad’s feeling of not belonging and the constant fight for his visa are leading to a tough choice: Can he stay or will he go back to Casablanca?
Director's Biography
Adriano VALERIO: Adriano Valerio has a degree in Jurisprudence from the Università Nazionale di Milano, with a thesis on "State crime and religious outrage in Italian cinema". He studied cinema with Marco Bellocchio before moving to Paris, where he completed a Master of Fine Arts at the Ecole Internationale de Création Audiovisuelle et de Réalisation (EICAR). At the same school, he still teaches film direction and analysis. He works with the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts in Beirut, the Marangoni Institute in Paris and the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, among others. He has taken part in the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Locarno Festival Academy.
