Synopsis

A lyrical immersion in a place of exile in the middle of nature, Il Cam(m)ino is a therapeutic center that tries to free its residents, lost in dependence and its abysses, from their pain of living and perhaps find themselves again.

Director's Biography

Nathalie ROSSETTI: Nathalie Rossetti graduated from the Orazio Costa School of Dramatic Art in Florence and then from DAMS in Bologna, before working as a scriptwriter, documentalist and musical advisor for films intended for the cinema, before turning to the creation and direction of documentaries. She is particularly interested in subjects relating to anthropology, justice and art.
In 2007, together with her partner Turi Finocchiaro, they set up the Faito doc festival on Monte Faito, near Naples, Italy - an International Festival of Cinéma du réel (http://faitodocfestival.com/) for which they are artistic directors.
In 2009, with Amel Bouzid and Louise Mast, they founded Borak Films in Brussels.

Turi FINOCCHIARO: Turi Finocchiaro holds a D.U. in ISAV from Montpellier and a degree in image studies from the I.N.Ra.Ci. in Brussels. He decided to devote himself entirely to cinema. Moving to Rome in 1990, he worked on a number of international co-productions (2nd and 1st assistant director, location manager, production manager).
In 1993, Turi set up a consultancy for the development of European co-productions, focusing on documentaries (Media & Eurimages programme). In 1998, he founded EFC Impronte Digitali in Rome and began producing and co-producing his first documentaries.
In 2007, he and his partner Nathalie Rossetti set up the Faito doc festival in Italy on Monte Faito, near Naples - an International Festival of Cinéma du réel (http://faitodocfestival.com/) for which they are artistic directors.
Between 2017 and 2021, Turi was also President of the Best Of International Short Films Festival in La Ciotat, which brought together the world's most awarded short films.
