Director's Biography

Jean-Christophe YU: Jean-Christophe Yu is passionate about his family history. Of Chinese origin, his father arrived in Belgium at the urging of his own father. It was here that he discovered his love of cinema and filmmaking. A passion that he passed on to Jean-Christophe.
Jean-Christophe Yu has a degree in Art History and Archaeology from the University of Liège, and a degree in Music and Drama from the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Director, scriptwriter, producer, assistant, stage manager, props man, grips man... Jean-Christophe is involved at every level of film-making. He is also a cultural facilitator, exhibition curator, lecturer, presenter, organiser of cultural events and writer, and for 15 years was a facilitator in a cultural movement (exhibitions, videos, festivals, conferences, etc.).
