Millenium invites you to preview two episodes of Le Gang des Souris Vertes in Brussels and Charleroi, in the presence of director François Troukens and actors Anthony Loison and Theau Courtes.
Their masterstroke? Finding a way around the safeguards on smart cash cases, which release an indelible dye when forced open, rendering the banknotes unusable. How did they find the flaw? And how did they manage to evade the police for 10 years?
Through accounts from gang members, intimate recollections from those close to them and dramatic reconstructions, Imen Ghouali, who previously investigated the case for Faites entrer l’accusé, and François Troukens, a former Belgian bank robber turned filmmaker, immerse us in the adrenaline of the heists and the tensions of life on the run. The series also explores friendship, fear and fractured relationships, while acknowledging the victims’ trauma and the lasting impact on their lives.
