Synopsis

A timeless David and Goliath story. Lek Chailert, a tribal Thai woman, takes on the huge and highly profitable Thai tourism industry to save the iconic and once-sacred Elephants and also expose the cruel practices of Elephant tourism.

Director's Biography

In 2009 Jez completed his debut feature documentary, Shed Your Tears And Walk Away which Best UK First Feature at London’s East End Film Festival 2010, an award intended for fiction. Since then Jez has continued to direct, produce and executive produce several feature documentaries with Bungalow Town Productions which he runs with his partner Rachel Wexler.
