Synopsis
Khatera, a 23-year-old Afghan woman who has been sexually abused for years by her father, decides to take him to court. Hence, she has to confront her family, her country’s traditions and the archaic Afghan judicial system. “A Thousand Girls Like Me” tells the heroic fight of a woman to make her voice heard and assert her rights.
