Synopsis
The authoritarian regime of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is making life difficult for his country’s democracy. Disinformation campaigns are emerging on social networks and increasingly infiltrate society. In this context, journalist Maria Ressa brings into play the tools of the free press – and her own freedom – to defend truth and democracy.
