After the death of two Polish workers in a Belgian warehouse in 2012, the underregulation of the European transport sector has become an ever more evident problem. How can a single European market, labor rights, and national sovereignty be made compatible? Who is really responsible for the degrading conditions in which Eastern European truck drivers have to work? Is the European project really uniting the continent, or is it just allowing rich Western entrepreneurs to make more profit, at the expenses of the East?
