Synopsis: 

Simone, 89, isn’t scared of the Other and refuses to isolate herself. In 2013, during winter, her desire to take action for refugees led her to a church where around a hundred of Afghans had taken refuge. She befriends with Nafisa and Mohammad, an Afghan couple who fled their country.

Bio Director: 

Dominique Guerrier is a French writer, director and scriptwriter. Before working in cinema, he started out in theatre. He worked with troops and as a theatre programmer for children. In 1995, he directed his first feature film Le nez au vent. In the meantime, he worked on several movies and documentaries, such as the documentary series La Terre des hommes in 2011. He was a member of the Commision de Sélection des Films in the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel of the French Community of Belgium and a member of the jury SACD Belgium for the scenario selection of feature films at the Atelier Grand Nord in Montréal (2007).
