Millenium Festival March 26 – April 3 2026

The Millenium Festival comes to Charleroi: films, meetings, and special guests at Quai10

For the first time, the Millenium Festival is coming to Charleroi, at Quai10, with a program that is both socially engaged and rich in encounters. Charleroi, a city with a strong social history, is a natural place to showcase films that challenge our society.

The festival will open with L’extraordinaire voyage de Mister Jack by Sarah Moon Howe, in the presence of the director and the film’s protagonist, followed by a convivial drink with the audience. Earlier, the premiere of En attendant Zorro, also directed by Sarah Moon Howe, will celebrate difference and highlight the extraordinary abilities of people with disabilities.

Among the prestigious guests, the festival will welcome Luna Wedler, lead actress of Silent Friend, awarded at the Venice Film Festival. Another highlight is a special presentation of A Fox Under a Pink Moon in the presence of directors Mehrdad Oskouei and Soraya, followed by a Q&A.

Screenings, meetings, and exchanges will give this first edition of the Millenium Festival in Charleroi both meaning and excitement.
