March 24, 7:00 PM, UGC Toison d’Or
The Millenium Festival is delighted to present the Belgian premiere of the inspiring documentary Generation Trust: A Global Climate Story in the Making, directed by Clara Wetzel and Fanny Lindström, on March 24 at 7:00 PM at UGC Toison d’Or.
Generation Trust follows five young climate leaders — in Pakistan, in Liberia, in Uganda, in Colombia and in Bolivia — who are rebuilding the food, energy, mobility and education systems. Their stories showcase both their hurdles and their resilience, showing how trust, collaboration and a common goal can transform a local act into global change.
After the screening, join an exciting panel organized by the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), bringing together key actors in international climate policy.
The discussion will be moderated by Malak Chabar, with the participation of Kurt Vandenberghe (Director General of the European Commission’s DG Climate Action), Luca Brusa (Chief of External Relations at UNFCCC), and Margaux Mannaerts (Belgium’s UN youth delegate for climate at COP30).
An evening to discover how the new generation is already taking action for the climate — and to imagine solutions for tomorrow together.
