Synopsis
In Martinique, centuries of colonisation and migration have intermingled peoples from the four corners of the globe, making each one the son of all. By examining questions of identity, this film shows us that another world is possible.

Annick Ghijzelings’ cinema explores territories that carry the memory of an era scarred but not erased by the ravages of colonialism. Emerging from the distant past, her films return to us like boomerangs, inviting us to rethink our ways of being in the world.
