Synopsis

In the documentary “La Marelle”, Laura De Baudringhien proposes an experience during which she brings together her neighbors, who each have small gardens adjacent to hers in her apartment in Anderlecht/Clémenceau. She invites them to meet in a radically different context and place: a black box studio. In this common space, they discover and exchange, in all their diversity, on the themes of anonymity and encounter. Under the motto “everything is allowed, nothing is obligatory” they question the existing order and ask themselves: How do we connect with others? What if we got rid of the fences? Would that make room for other things?
