Synopsis

Starting from an empty factory, a family name and an archival trunk, Derrière les volets is a poetic wandering of an apprentice filmmaker who moves to her grandmother’s house. A daydream about oblivion and the invisible, woven from scattered materials, archives and language games, for a film-book questioning the transformation of the female body, the impossible transmission and the matter of time.
