Master Class

Belgian Forum

What is the place of the mise en scène in documentaries?

The Master Classes are organised in collaboration with APACH (HELB).

MASTER CLASS 1

“The filmmaker’s House” by Marc Isaacs

A new documentary style seems to be emerging. It is characterised by the
reconstruction of real-life situations in a directed setting. This is a trend that can be found in The Filmmaker’s House and that seems to be more and more common today. Could we therefore speak of a new genre?

MASTER CLASS 2

“A man and a camera” by Guido Hendrikx

What is the relationship between the director and his camera? Between the camera and the filmed subject? Between the director and his subject? These are all questions that A Man and a Camera asks. An opportunity to ask and discuss them.

PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS:

– Precise dates and times will be communicated to you shortly!

– Free participation. As places are limited, registration is compulsory: digital@festivalmillenium.org
