Synopsis
We are very happy to announce that The Yes Men will be in Brussels for the opening ceremony of the 7th edition of the Millenium Festival!
Their documentary The Yes Men Are Revolting will be our opening movie on March 20th at 8 pm.
Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno are the Yes Men, a duo of irreverent activists who take pranks to the next level. Aiming to raise awareness about what they consider to be problematic social issues is the bread and butter of their various interventions, each more provoking and spectacular than the last. Having mastered the art of impersonation, they have tricked and exposed multinational companies, international organisations and even governments. With a worldwide following numbering in the thousands, they make the system tremble, hoping to see a fairer world emerge.
The Yes Men are Revolting, their third and latest film, will open this year’s edition of the festival. They are now in their forties, and although they are confronted with the questionings that come around that age, they mean to face their biggest challenge yet – global warming. Their film offers a message of hope: the fight for change has only just begun!
