Every day in our obsessive consumption lifestyle, we accumulate objects that begin their production journey in an industrial site. Who are the monks in temples of steel and concrete who are at the base of creation, transport, marketing and destruction of these objects ? Giorgio Ferrero tells us in four differents places of the world, the mechanical liturgy and isolation of the organization’s actors of the overconsumption global chain.
The screening of the film will be followed by a master class by Giorgio Ferrero, director and producer. The master class will focus on the making of Beautiful Things, from writing the screenplay to shooting the feature film. Giorgio Ferrero will describe the relationship between sound and image, where sound and music tell the story of the interiority of the characters and the visuals tell the stories of the places. He will speak about the creation of a visual grammar able to get the audience into an immersive perception of the spaces.
The master class will be in English.
