Bio du Réalisateur: 

Mahmood Rahmani has an honours degree from the FirstProfessional Workshop of the Documentary and Experimental Film Center. He teaches film makingin professional film schoolsin Iran. In 2003, he made hisfirst short film Gagola (name of a village boy in Southern Iran) and his second one Oha (Dragon) in 2004. In 2005, he directedthe documentary Naft Sepid named after the city where oil was discovered. The film wasselected in many film festivals asIDFA, Cinéma du Réel, etc. Hisdocumentary film Zero DegreeOrbit was produced in 2007 and received more than 15 prizes at home and outside Iran. His latest documentary Molf-eGand was made in 2008 andis considered the longest plan in Iranian Cinema.
