Synopsis

Sortir de ce jardin tells the story of a group of people, young and old, from various backgrounds, inhabitants and workers, vegetable gardeners, from the old Molenbeek district, of which the director herself is a member. Concerned about environmental issues and climate urgency, they decided to travel to Paris in 2015 where Cop 21 is being prepared. But, on the eve of departure, the attacks in Paris suspended any possibility of travel. The municipality of Molenbeek and its inhabitants were then taken by storm and widely stigmatized by the media. Without giving up, the members of this group will continue to live, to invent ways of going through, to leave their neighbourhood, to leave their gardens to go and see the world.
