Synopsis: 

In the middle of the world’s biggest fruit and vegetable garden, the “Mar del plástico”, lies the Andalusian village of San Agustín. A mysterious virus threatens the harvest, bacteria attacks the plants and the authorities go after the illegal greenhouse workers. In a few words: two families, a village tavern and plenty of vegetables. One extraordinary harvest season in nine chapters.

Bio Director: 

Gudrun Gruber was born in Austria in 1984. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. 


 

Alexander Hick, born in 1985, is from Germany. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and the Escola de Arte Lamassana in Barcelona. 


 

Michael Schmitt was born in 1983 in the Ardenau region. He studied theater, cinema, sociology and English literature at the Erlangen-Nuremberg University and at the University of Ghana in Accra.
