The 2017 edition of the Millenium Festival closed on a high note after 10 days of festivities.
Every day since the 9th edition of the Millenium Festival came to an end, we've been receiving notes of thanks. These messages are very heart-warming!
This year, the Millenium Festival has rewarded films that were made with a very small budget.
After a week of discoveries, exchanges and festivities the Festival is ending. The jurys deliberated and here are the winning movies!

The Beginning of Life invites to reflect: are we taking good care of this unique moment, which defines both the present and future of humankind? The first years of life play a crucial role in the fulfilment of the child and in his future success.
Hide Behind the Sun - mon 27/03 at 9PM at the Cinéma Galeries
Sang-Hyeon has been living in a slum in Seoul for twenty five years and dreams of the day he will live with his eight-years-old son from whom he has been separated after divorce. He does not believe in the NGO’s help, he keeps trying to stand on his own two feet but always returns empty-handed. An NGO offers him a stable job to support neighbors and he faces a dilemma : to join or not the charity system which could take their dignity and their independance.

They are thirteen. They love to skate and dream of escaping a boring life at school, which leaves little room for dreaming and adults who no longer laugh. They walk down the roads of their village, between the sea, the countryside and the city. Between forgetting high-school, appealing to women and pleasing their fathers, life is harsh at thirteen. La Belle Vie paints portraits of young boys who share their sorrows, fears and battles to build a better world.

Paul works in Michael Flynn’s mattress shop, which is close to bankruptcy. In order to save both his job and the business, he embarks on a crazy marketing mission and transforms his employer Mick into “Mattress Mick” who creates a buzz on the Internet. Are crisis, success and friendship, a good mix?
